Their desisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this progrome shall be final, The term " district horse " to mean any horse in the district for one month before the 17th March, and the bona fide property of owner resident in the district for same length ot time, "District to mean the Inangahua County and Riding of I jell, and down to the Ahaura river, All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colours of the rider, and delivered not later than 8 p,m, on Monday 13th March 18S2, No Person will be allowed to entry a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than 2 soys, Hack and Trotting races excepted, In the event of any person entering v protest, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary betore such protest is considerered, this sum to be f eited to the funds should the Stewrrds consider the portcst frivolous or vexations, Three horses must accept for ea^b event or the public money will not be given.
