WELCOME.

A general cleaning up was made to-day after three weeks crushing of 270 tons, run through since the previous clearing, which was made after two weeks crushing, and which realized 5900z5. of retorted gold. The present lot yielded 887ozs. of retorted gold, making altogether 14770z5. frora five weeks operations. It will thus be seen the general averago of this mine is fully maintained, and further comment is unnecessary. The gold is lodged in the bank, and the directors will meet on Monday, when a dividend of ss. at least will be declared. This week's amalgam amounted to 9540z5. from 90 tons of stone.
