John Blight, dam, 60ft x 10ft, and water-race, 100 yards; granted. Ah Tow, tail-race 400 yards, Cariboo; granted. Thomas Anderson and Joseph Herron, tunnel, 500 feet, Darkies Creek ; granted. South Hopeful (G. Wise), tunnel 300 feet, Boatman's; adjourned until next Court day. South Hopeful (G. Wise), special site for mullock, one acre, Boatman's; adjourned for survey. Thomas Lee made application on behalf of the Eureka Company, Boatman's, for extension of time for commencing operations on privileges granted at a previous sitting of the Court, namely, three headrases, one dam, and two tunnels. The grounds of the application were as follows :— That negotiations are not yet concluded with adjoining parties as to the manner in which the works are to be constructed, so as not to injure neighbouring interests.
