THE LATE M. G. GREEN.

[To the Editor Inangahua Times.] Sib, — Permit me through the columns of your journal, to draw public attention to what may, I think, be fairly characterised as a miscarriage of justice. I refer to the presumed poisoning case of Michael George Green, my late husband. If I am rightly informed, and I have every reason to believe that the information is correct, the stomach has not yet been submitted to an analysis — in fact, remains in the Reefton police camp. Now, sir, considering that I, his widow, have been submitted to a close and searching examination by a Coroner's jury, who arrived at the decision that there was no evidence against me — yet, nevertheless, desired a chemical analysis of the stomach ! I do think in justice to myself the authorities ought to be made accountable for this palpable negligence. Soliciting your aid in the matter. I am, &c, Mrs. M. Green. Reefton, 14th March, 1882.
