RESULT.
The hands up till recently have been engaged driving in the No. 3 level. IS o stone being met with it was decided to rise on a block of stone which was left in an earlier stage of the workings. The stone was recently cut, and showed remarkably rich. So much so, that it has been considered good enough to be sent to the Exhibition. Hitherto this run of stone has been found to be rather broken, but present indications favor the belief that the reef is assuming a more compact and regular form, and the directors have therefore decided to put on hands for a month on the No. 4 level with a view of intersecting the stone at a part where it is believed to be of permanent form. The distance to be gone to do this is about 50 feet, which will occupy a month. This mine adjoins the Golden Fleece on the south, and in view of the bores to be put down by that company will shortly test the Result ground,
