In all the abovo case?, arrtsiiy from errors and the yielding to the passions, no time should be lost to at once ancst tho progress of disease. DE. L. L. SMITH HAS devoted mself for twenty yenr in the colony to t ho practice of thi branch of Ins profession while previously, in England, he was tho pupil of and practised with t'lc celebratedDr.E.T.Culverivell, the only medical practitioner who ever exclusively adopted this a* the sole branch of his profession. Dr. L. L. Smith hereby informs tho public that dff the only legally-qualified medical man i this speciality of his professiou that others advertising are unqualified, and that, therefore, in pretending to be qualified are obtaining money under false pretences. Dr. L. L. Smith also warns tne public against the quackeries advertised. If the taker of any of these advertised nostrums escape with his life, or his system be not thoroughly and irreparably undermined by them, he may Icok upon himself as th» most fortunate mortal. Dr. L. L. Smith has been applied to by 90 many unfortunate broken-down young" old^meL, utterly crushed in sprit, rained in body, and niched in pocket that ha deems it a duty to publish this to the world. Those men and women who bare been the victims of unprincipled charlatans frequently seek that recovery which i» often beyond Dr. Smith's control. When will the public understand that it is to their interest to consult a duly qualified medic ' toan, who has made this his sole* study rather than apply to a number or ignorant impostors, who merely harp and* prey upon their pockets and health. Dr. L* L. Smith has alway stated thai to warn the public of these quicksands his chief reason for advertising. In all cases of nervous, debility lowness spirits loss of power, pimples on the ofehead, lassitude, inaptitude for business /m potency' drainage from the system, and the various effects of errors of youth and bloodpoisoning frum diseases previously contracted, Dr. L. L. Smith invites sufferers to consult him, as he has no hesitation in stating that no medical mau either here or in England, has had the opportunties of practice and extraordinary experience which he has had. Therfure those who really desire to be treated t>y one who is at the head of his profession in this branch of medical practice should lose no time in seeking his advice. Nor should anyone marry without first con« suiting him. The new consulting roo ns are at 182 Collins Stbeb? HENEY, CUREAN & CO., Wholesale Druggists, of NEW YOBK. have Agencies in various parts, and that their Travellers are going all over the country vending SPUEIOCS, IMITA* TIONS of my Pills, and Ointment which they make in New Tobk, and which bea* in some instan B *^K ces th . e ' r trade mark thus — Jfm ip^ — whilst on other labels of WgfeJlß this trash it is omitted, the%^B jfcj better to de* ceive yon, but the words "New York" are retained Much of this fictitious stuff* is sold in the Auction rooms of Sydney and elsewhere, and readily finds it 3 way into the back settlements. These are vile frauds, as I do not allow my Medicines even to be sold in any part of the United States; they are only made by me at 533, Oxford Street, London. The same people are circulating report that my business s about to be formed into a Company, which is lOTXBLY FALSE. I most earnestly appeal to that sense of British justice, which I feel sure I may venture upon asking from my kind countrymen and countrywomen n their distant homes, to assist me as far as may lay in their power, in denouncing this t>han>eful American Fraud, by can* tioning th rir friends lest they be duped into buying villainous compounds styled " Holloways Pills and Ointment " with any New York label thereon. Each Pot and Box of the Genuine Medicines bears the British Oovenmeni Stamp, with the words " Hollo Wat's Pills and Ointment, lokdok," engraved thereon.
