i The contractors are still driving ahead in main drive. The country is slightly softer than when last reported upon, and a'change may at any time now take place for the bettor. In the cross-cut during the last week, they have been driving on the track of the reef, the face of drive being quartz intermixed with pug. This formation has been driven on some time past, but as the further they go the firmer the country before them will become, the probability is that the reef will make very shortly.
