IMPERIAL.
The manager is employed with two men in putting the shaft in working order. A good reef is being carried in the mam drive at the bottom of shaft, averaging four feet in thickness carrying payable gold. Cochrano and party are very busy with their contract, although the weather has been very much against them from the beginning, no time will be lost in the erection of poppet heads, &c., to enable this mine to start crushing.
