The following are examples f the fee payable fnr bringing the land itnder the pro 1 visions of the Lund Transfer Acts — 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated '■ on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in which has been dealt with— Wiiere the Certificate of tit is directed to issue in tne name of the A iplicant : Value of land £100 ... £0 U 2 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. When the Applicant is tte original Grantee, and the land hn« been dealt with} or where the Applicant is not the original Grantee — Where tbe value of tho land is £100 £2 14 2 1 Where the value of the land £200 3 3 Where the value of the land is £30 :.. ... 3 12 6 Where the value of the land ia £400 ... 4 1 8 i. Where tho value of land is above £400, the fees ncrease at the rate of4s2d (Assurance Fund) for* every additional £100 in value. These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmuch as applicants to bring land under ' the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the names of any other persous. ' Credit for Fees is Given, ' When desired by the Apilicant in all cases > where the proprietor applies to have the land I registered under the Act in his own name, and the fe*« may remain unp until land is dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wishes to bring i. his land under the prorisions of the Aot, in ' order thai whenever he deals with it he muy i be in a position to avail himself of the ■ facilities uilbrded by having a Registered ' Title, can do so \\ itkout Any Present Cost, ■ by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until I such dealing takes place, lie will then be I in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, > or otherwise deal with his land at n moment's > notice.
