Extent of ground applied for — Sixteen and a half acres. Minimum number of men proposed to be employed by the Lessee — For the first six months, two men ; subsequently when in full work, eight men. Amount of Capital proposed to be invested— £l2,ooo. Proposed mode of working the land — Driving and sinking, and other modes of quartz mining. Precise locality — East and adjoining the Keep-it-Dark and Vulcan Mines, south by the Nil Desperandum Mine and on other sides unoccupied land. Term for which lease is required — Fifteen years.
