VICTOR EMANUEL.
The only word in hand just now is extension of the low level. The reef has left the face, having it is believed, taken a jump into one of the walls, Should it not come in again this week, a cross-cut will be put in order to again pick up the stone. Owing to bad air the rise has had to be discontinued, having been driven 35 feet with a width of four feet of reef. It is probable a start will shortly be made to sink a winze from the upper level.
