A very admirably executed plan of the mine of the Specimen Hill Company has just been completed by Mr W. H. Hobby, and is to be seen at the office of Mr P, Brennan. The levels are very clearly shown, though it mustliavebeefn a, matter
of difficulty to ascertain them exactly, owing to the very crooked manner in which they have been driven. The survey must, owing to this cause, have been a must complicated one and the greater credit is due to the surveyor for the work turned out. The plan is well worth inspection, and does credit t<> Mr Hobby.
