The Lankey's Creek Coal mine, now held by Messrs Roxborough and Caird, is turning out some excellent coal. A constable hearing the noise of the row, and cries of 'Murder,' attempted to force open the front door, but was prevented by a number of those inside lying against it. The constable then went into the gallery (the hall is a small theatre), and saw some 20 of the dancers pummelling one another on the floor.
