THE EUREKA QUA RTZ MINING COMPANY, LIMITED. WHEREAS on the NINTH day of OCTOBER, one thousand eight hundred aud eighty-two, We, the undersigned, holding in the aggregate 5000 shares and upwards in "The Eureka Quartz Mining company, Limited," duly deposited a requisition in writing under our hands, requiring the Acting- Manager to convene an Extraordinary Meeting of the Company for the purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, passing the subjoined resolutions. And, whereas, the A cting-Manager has failed to convene an Extraordinary Meeting within five days from the time of such deposit. Now, therefore, in exercise of the power for this purpose given to us by Rule 24 of the Hules of the Company, we do hereby give notice that an EXTRAORDINARY MEETING of the Company will be heid at " Kater's Hotel," Reefton, on WEDNESDAY, the Bth day of NOVEMBER, 1882. at 8 o'clock in the evening, for the purpose of considering, and, if thought fit, passing the subjoined resolutions : — To amend Rule No. 21 of the Company, as to the time of holding the first General Meeting of Shareholders, and to provide for the election of Directors at such or any subsequent General Meeting. To amend Rule No. 2 of the Company as to the retirement of Directors. To annul the suspension of the Manager, and to reinstate him in hia office. To consider the action of the Directors in removing property from the Company's Registered Oftico without authority.
