CKCESUS. Friday, November 10. The mining manager's half-yearly report shows that during that term No. 2 level has been driven 210 feet making the total length of the level 540 feet. At present the driving is good and the indications are very promising, and point to the probability of the reef being struck at any moment. A short time since an attempt was made to resume sinking in the winze from No. I level, but the volume of water proved too great, and the project was abandoned. !he company are about letting a contract for excavation of machine site, survey of which has been authorised.
