Defendant pleaded guilty, saying that he had been hired by Mr Lee to clear land. Fined 10s and costs. police v. o'nbill. Defendant was charged by the police with countenancing and abetting an offence against public decency, at Boatman's, within the space of six months' past. According to the evidence, defen dant offered a man named M'Dowella shilling if he would partly undress himself in the main street, M' Dowel did as requested And received the money His Worship reserved his decision till the morning. Edwards v. Minnis, claim for £4 for goods supplied. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for the amount with 3s costs. Garth v. Curnick, defendant appeared to show cause why he had failed to satisfy a judgment of the court. An order was eventually made for the payment of £10, and the balance in two months, in default' to months imprisonment.
