Wight of general entry — 20th December, 1882, up to 8 p.m. The term "West Coast" to be under stood as including the Counties of Inanfahua, Grey, Westland, and Buller. [orses to be qualified to enter for any of the Weßt Coast events must have been bona fide owned and located in either of tho Counties named up to the Bth September, 1882. The term "Inangahua County horse" to mean a horse bona fide owned and locatod within the t ounty of Inangahua from the Bth September, 1882. N o entry will be received for any of the races except on this condition : — That all disputes, claims, aud objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whoso decisions upon all points connected with thecarrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretaiy. Entrance money and 'qualification enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of tho horse, name of the owner and colours of the rider, and delivered not later than 8 p.m. on 20th December 1882. No person will bo allowed to enter a lorao for any race unless he be a subscriber to tho race fund of not less than 2 soys. Hack races excepted. In tho event of any person entering a protest, tbe auin of £2 2s must bo lodged with the Secretary before such protest in considered, this sum to lie forfeited to tlie funds should the Stewards consider tho protest frivolous or voxatious. Three horses must accept for each event or the public money will not be given Mares allowed 311>8, golding2lbs throughout the year. Shikes paid less 5 per cent. Dunedin Jockey Club Rules. li, J.
