Night of general entry— 2oth December, 1882, up to 8 p.m. The term " West Coast " to be under stood as including the Counties of Inangahua, Grey, Westland, and Buller. Horses to be qualified to, enter for any of the West Coast events must have been bona fide owned and located in either of the Counties named up to the Bth September, 1882. The term "Inangahua County horse" to mean a horse bona tide owned and located within the I ounty~ of Inangahua from the Bth September, 1882. JN o entry will be received for nny of the races except on this condition :— That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the cacing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carry ingout of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colours of the ridor, and delivered not later than 8 p.m. on 20th December 1882. No person will be allowed to enter a -liorae for any race unless he bo a subscriber to the race fund of not less than 2 soys. Hack races exempted. In the event of any- person entering a protest, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged '■with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum \u be forfeited to the funds tihouid tim Stewards consider thu {irotest frivolous or vexatious.
