GLADSTONE EXTENDED.

In extending the level two blocks of stone have been driven through. One of these proved to be about 80ft. long, the average thickness being about one foot, and the other about 25ft. in length, with a thickness of about 3ft. Both these blocks show nice gold. The face has now been carried to a point where the hill rises abruptly and the directors with MriThornton C.E will proceed to the mine early next week for the purpose of 'deciding upon the course of future operations. The directors have secured a machine site and water-race.
