CALEDONIAN EXTENDED.
The cross-cut has been extended about 17ft. making the whole distance of the face of the crads-cut to the south drive on the leaders "IBciit. The south drive has been extended on the leaders 15ft. making the whole distance of the south drive 33ft. This work is still being continued. The leaders have earned gold all the week, and improved to this date. They are running in a track 4ft. 6in. wide, and between two good walls, and the general belief is that they will lead to the reef.
