HOSPITAL MATTERS.

(To the Editor Inangahua Times.) Sir, — Through the medium of your valuable columns, I wish to call the attention of the powers that be in connection with the Hospital, and to enquire from them : if it is a rule to refuse an application for admission, on the grounds of not being a subscriber, and if this rule is at all times adhered to ? Also, if it is necessary for the Surgeon-Superinten-dent to appeal to the wardsman for his permission to admit a patient. I am, &c, H ouseholpee. Reefton, Feb 26, 1883.
