Thomas Oojhrane, section No. 988, Church street, Reefton — Adjourned, owin<j to non-pegging of the ground " The following applications for milling leases were recommended ; D. T.M'Gee, for the Merrijig Sluicing Company ; B. Xiedhift, for the Hidden Treasure ; W. Hindinarsh, for the Divide (adjourned) ; v\ . Irving, for the New Zealand, (no appearance) ; P. Murphy, for the Nevis ; W. Williams, for the Moonlight; P. M'Geady, for the Vale of Clyde (no appearance) ; G. Wise, for the Deep Creek. SPECIAL CLAIMS. . G. C. Bowman, applied on behalf of the Keep-it-D*rk Company, for a special claim of 34 acres 3 roods 38 perches of ground, including the township of Cru3hington, and road and river raserve. The Company proposed working the ground at a depth of not less than 100 ft. from the surface. The expenditure requisite for opening and working the ground would he £10,000. The Warden said he would reoommend the application. D M'Gee, applied on behalf of the Golden Gaiter Company, for a special claim of 84 acres, in the Rainy Creek district.
