UNITED VICTORY.
The manager reports for last week: "No change in condition of mine. The principal part of the stone crushed was from the stopes over No. 1 level close up to the surface, the width of the reef being two feet, owing however,- to the poor yield, I have discontinued taking stone from here, and have put the hands on in the south intermediate." The Battery return for last week was : — Plates, 38 oz ; blankets, 3 oz; skimmings, soz 1 dwt ; total 46 oz 1 dwt, the quantity of stone reduced being 48 tons. The general cleaning: up took place to-day (Friday), but as the gold will not reach town until to-mor-row, news as to the result is not to hand.
