UNITED INGLEWOOD.
Sometime since, Mr.R. J. Johnston was engaged by the company to make a, survey -of the mine, with a view of ascertaining whether the driving then going in was on the right course. The result was, Mr Johnston found that the drive was . 200 ft.. out of the proper course. He accordingly gave another early in ths present week at a distance, of 34ft 6in., or within 6,in. of the distance givfcn by Mr Johnston.
