Two men are still employed pros pecting the outcrop near south fillingin shaft. No. 6 level is being pushed ahead, and the reef should be intersected at the end of another 100 feet or thereabouts, that being the point indicated by survey. The party who have undertaken to break out the hanging block have now a good sized parcel of stone to grass, and will commence crushing on Monday. At the battery .the four berdans are kept constantly employed treating tailings, last week's return from which was 16 ounces of amalgam.
