Despite the bad weather which lias prevailed during the past week, the works have been kept constantly going and everything is in a very forward state. The balance of the machinery and gear, with the exception of the buckets for the aerial tramway, will reach Greyniouth about Friday next, and will be forwarded to the machinesite immediately on delivery from shipboard. ' The wire for the tramway will be erected during the next two or three days.
