An extensive forgery has befin discovered here, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of William White, vinegar manufacturer, who, it is alleged, while receiving bills in a bona fide way, has forged numerous others with a similar date, and several persons have been victimise-* and one has already filed his schedule, as he is unable to distinguish between the genuine and the forged bills. It is believed that the latter reach a total of £8000. White has disappeared. !'.'•';* Madrid, 18.' A report is to hand from Catalonia and the Northern Provinces that the , rebellion may now be considered over, the despatch of loyal troops to the disturbed districts having had the desired effect.
