Since the striking of the reef on the main low leveJUtfdwjatone has been cut through, and shows a thickness of 18ft. of clean stone, carrying fair gold. Following the course of the Underlay there is now an ascertained height of stone overhead of about 860 ft., the average thickness of which may be set down at 20ft.
