"\TOTICE is HEREBY GIVEN that the Gold Mining Lease applied for by Thomas Hunter, for the "Fox's Creek Quartz Mining Company," viz, 16£ acres, about three miles, south-east of the Southern Cross Company's Lease, on the western range of Fox's Creek, Inangahua, has been Refused ; and the ground ia now open to persons holding Miners' Rights or Business Licenses, as if a lease of the said ground had not been applied for.
