The Treasurer moved the discharge from the order paper of the following Bills :— Settled Land Bill, remarking that he moved the discharge of this Bill with regret, Auctioneers,. /Fisheries, Legislative Officers, Salaries, Local Courts, (Savings Banes, Fire and. Marine Insurance Companies, River Boards, Municipal Corporation, Impounding, and Married Wan en's Property BilL The amendments made by the Legislative Council in. the Bankriptcy Bill Were considered in Committee, and the majority of these were agreed to. The Members Expenses Bi'l, which has been introduced by Ministers, provides for the reduction of Legislative Councillors' honorarium from £2 : 0 to £105 in the case of those residing above ten miles froni Parliament House, and to all in the case of those living within a ten mile radius.
