Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider, and delivered not later than 8.30 p.m. 14th December, 1883. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subspriber to the race fund of not less than 2 3ovs. Hack nice excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest the sum of L 2 2s. must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
