CROCESUS.
The general cleaning up at this company's battery on Monday last realised 173 ounces of retorted gold, for which 320 tons of stone were reduced. The return has fallen short of what was expected, but the yield still gives a small profit, which should, as soon as existing liabilities are liquidated, enable intermittent dividends to be declared. Within the mine the various faces: maintain their usual appearance, there being no change inthe average size of the reef. The battery is kept constantly employed, the quantity of stone put through being about 80 tons.
