These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmucfi as applicants to bring land. under the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the names of any ether persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When deaiitd.by the Applicant in all cases where fche proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Ad in his own name, and we fess anay remain unp until' aad s dealt with. Ary person, therefore, who wishes to brinn hie land under the provisions of the Act, ig order that whenever he deuls with it he muy be in a position to avail himself of the facilities afforded by having a Registered Title, can do so Witkout Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until such deuling takes place. He will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his land at a moment's notice. Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a coat to the Applicunt of only Five Shillings; for if the Title ia rejected al fees are returned, with the exception of he rent. CERTIFICATES OF TITLE ARE ABSOLUTELY 1 DEFEASIBLE. ALL TITLES ARE GUARANTEED BS TliE GUVERNMENT. On all Conveyances by Deed under the old system, the cost of registration in the ' Deeds Kegistry, over and übovo the Solicitor's oharge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, frequently Very much more ; while land which has been bought under the provisions of " The Land Trausler Act " can be transferred at a total j cost of Eleven Shillings where a whole se Jtion conveyed; and where only partis conveyed (and therefore afresh Certificate' 'of, Title is necessitated) , of Thinty-one Shillinga, which : is the highest sum allowed by the Act, no j matter what the yalue or area of the land.
