FIERY CROSS EXTENDED.
Crushing will be commenced on Monday morning next, and will probably be contiuued for five or six weeks, Mr Kaithby .lias been engaged to superintend the crushing. Messrs Johnston and Watkins have just completed a careful survey of the whole of the Underground workings, and I understand that the data obtained by Mr Johnston during his four days ex animation of the workings will throw important light upon the question of the situation . and bearings of the western reef.
