No entry will be received for any of the races except on this condition : — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with- the carrying out of this programme shall be final.. County horse to mean a horso bona Ade owned and located within the County of Inangahua from 25th September, 1883. Any horse winning a prize of Lloo after declaration of weights to carry sft>s. extra. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the secretary. Entrance money and qualification euclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider, and delivered not later thau 8.30 p.m. 14th December, 1883. JNo person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than 2 soys. H ack race excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest the sum of L 2 2s. must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
