No entry will be received for any of the races exceptT on this condition : — That all disputes, claims, and ol>jections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. County horse to mean a horse hona tide owned and located within the County of Inangahua from 25th September, 1883. Any horse winning a prize of Lloo after declaration of weights to carry. sfts. extra. All entries to be sealed aud addressed to the secretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider, and delivered not later than 8.30 p.m. 14th December, 1883. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than 2 sovs. H ack race excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest the sum of L2 2s. must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
