All Lauds lienated from the Crown after the coming ate operation of " The Land Trausfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must bedea* with, in manner prescribed by )he Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act: — 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in which has been dealt with— vVhere the Certificate of tit is directed to issue in tbe name of the A iplicant: Value of land £100 &) a 2 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser: Value o f land *100 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s ad (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. When tbe Applicant is the original Grantee, and the land has been dealt with ; or where the Applicant is not the original Grantee — Where tbe value of the land is £100 £2 14 2 Where the value of the land £200 33 Where the vaiue of the land is £30 3 12 6 Where the value of the land is £400 ... 4 18 VVhere the value of land is above £400, the fefiß ncrease at the rate of 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmucu as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Ap^lk-ant in all cases where tae proprietor applies to have the Lmd registered under the Act in his own uume, I and me fe»e may remain unp until | uid s dealt with. j A.r.y person, therefore, who wishes to brinn I his land under the provisions of the Act, ig j order that whenever he deals with it he may ! be in a position to avail himself of the | facilities utl'orded by having u Registered , Title, can do so Witkout Any Present Cost, j by allowing the fees to remain unpaid uutil 1 such dealing takes place.
