The case against the jockey of Archie,, for suspicious riding in the race for the Derby on Satin day, was heard by the Vietoriam Racing' Club's stewards to-day. The jockey was dismissed with a caution. Ellery, Colonial Meterologist, predicts unsettled weather for to morrow, Cup day. Bordeaux and Vernet have been scratched for the Cup. The following horses are considered doubtful starters: — Archie, Bis Bis, Kingsdale, Off-Colour, Signora, and The % Gem. (Received Nov. 6, 1.5 a.m.) London, 5. A fire broke out in a timber yard at Haggerstone. North London, two days ago, and was burning furiously for the whole of that time, all efforts to stop the progress of the flamea being ineffectual. The conflagration spread to the adjoining promises, and twelve small houses were completely destroyed. Belgrade, Servia, 5.
