Air Lauds lienated from the Crown after the coming otc operation of " The Land Transfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must be dea* with, in manner prescribed by »he Act. ; The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act:— 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land Included in which has been dealt with— : Where the Certificate of tit is directed to isuue in the name of: the A lplicant : Value, of land £100 ... ; ... ... ... jft) v 2 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 , 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inastmu-n as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of I'ttie to issue in the namee of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Apj-litaut in all cases where tne proprietor applies to hayo the land registered under the Act in his own uume, and ' tnc le?« may remain unp until aad .8 dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wishes to brinn his land under the provisions of the Act, ig order thut whenever he deals with it he inny be iv a poatiou to avail himself of tho facilities attbrded by having a Registered Title, can do so Witkout Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid uutil such dealing takes place. He will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his land at a moment's notice. Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings; lor if the Title is rejected al fees are returned, with the exception of he rei't. all titles are guaranteed bi the government. On all Conveyances by Deed uuder ib« old B/Bteni, the cost of registration iv the Deeis Registry, over aud abovo the Solicitor's charge, is never less than Fifteen Shillings, Ireiiutmtlv very much more ; while laud winch has beeu bought under the provisions of "The Laud Trausler Act" cun be transferred at a total cost of Eleven Shillings where v whole se.aiou conveyed ; and where only part id conveyed (und theretore a liesU C«rtiUoute Of Title is necessitated), of Tlunty-ono Shillings, which is the higheut sum allowed by tho Act, no matter what the value or aa>a of the land.
