Distance, l£ miles Post entry, 30s Horses, if entered to be sold for L2O, to carry lOst. ; if for Lls, to carry 9st. 41b. ; if for LlO, to carry Bst 71b The winner to be sold by public auction directly after the race, and. any surplus to go to the funds of the Club. Mr l.'eiley's Barney - - - - 1 Fair Nell and Modesty also started. Barney won by a length. The sim of 109 was invested in the totalisatnr on this event, the dividend on Barney being Ll 12s. 3. REEFTO JOCKEY CLUB HAY- , DIC A P.— LllO. Distance, If miles. Second horse to receive ; 10 from thestakes. Nominations, L 2. Acceptances, L3. Nominations received to. 8 30 p.m. on night of general entry ; weights declared at 10 p.m., and acceptances received to 11 p.m. on the 2Gth December, 1883. Mr Hathorn's omet, syrs, Bst 101 b - 1 VI r Osborn's Jack, 4yrs, Bst 31b - - 2 Mr Reilly's Albion, aged, 7st 41b - 3 Satellite, 6st 4lb, Volunteer, 9st 41 u r aud Ploughboy, 6s t, also ran, and finished in the order given. This was a comparatively easy victory for Comet. Amount on rotalisator, L 447, and dividend on Comet L 2 Bs. 4. FLYING STAKES. — L2O. Distance, 1 mile. Weight for age. Entry 30s. ; received to B*3o p.m. on night of general entry. VI rG. Osborne's Talent, aged - - 1 Mr Hathorn's Shepherdess - - 2 • rJ. Osborne's Jack, 4yra - - 3 Ploughboy also ran. This proved a gift for Talent. Amount on totalisator L 248. Dividend on the wiuner, Ll 18s. 5. GOLDFIELDS" HANDICAP. -LSO. Distance, 1^ miles. Second horse to receive L 5 from the stakes. Nominations, 30s. Acceptances, L 2 Nominations received to B*3o p.m. on night of general entry. Weights declared and acceptances received on the course after Jockey Clnb Handicap. Mr cGaffin's Sincerity, 6yrs, 6st -- 1 Mr Ha> horn's Comet 2 Mr Reilly's Allion - 3 Sincerity scampered home an easy winner. 6. COUNTY HANDICAP.— LSO Distance, 1 J miles.
