The annual meeting of shareholders w^frheld'at Mr fcowman's office on fcWturday. The directors report for the past year showed that, 9578 tons had been crushed during the year. wTOi yielded 56880zs Bdwt IBgrs of gold, equal to an average of 12 dwts per ton. The total value of the jOld was £21,826, of which £11,500 was' disbursed in dividends to shareholders, equal to Us 6d. per share. The average yield per ton during the past year is considerably above that of the preceding period, showing there V»y that the richness of the stone increases With the depth worked. The reef in the No. 3 level looks well. Fifty feet remains to be broken down before reaching" No 8, and there is enough atofco there to keep the battery fully employed for another year at least.
