INKERMAN.
The flatand incline tram way to connect the mine and battery has been laid off by Mr Sommervil; he company's engineer, and as soon as thp letting of the work is authorised by the Dunedin directors tenders will be invited for construction. The setting of the boilers is finished and the engine is all fixed up, and the only thing required is the hanging of the furnace doors to enable steam to be got up. The saw-bi-nch is almost ready, and in the course of a very few days a start will be made cutting the timber for the machine and battery house.
