The usual weekly scraping of the. top plates took place to-day, the yield being one hundred and forty ounces of amalgam. T?he work bo far done on the north reef shows a splendid body of stone, and very good results may be looked for from this portion of the mine. It will, however, be a month yet before the level is opened up sufficiently to influence the result of the crushing.
