Night of general entry : Thursday 13th March, 1884. No entry will be received for any of the races except on this condition ; — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. County .horse to mean a horse bona- fide owned and located within the County of Inaugahua from Ist February, 1884, owners wishing to train out of the County to get permission from the Stewards. Any horse winning a prize of 1 100 after declaration of weights to carry slbs. extra. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the secretary. Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider, and delivered hot later than' 9 p.m. night of general entry. No' person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not less than 2 soys. . Hack race excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the stewards consider the protest frivolous or- vexatious.
