Night of general entry : Thursday 13th March, 1884. No entry will be received for any of the races except on this condition .- — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, whose decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme slia.ll be final. County horse to mean a horse hona fide owned and located within the County of Inangahu'a from Ist February, ,1884, owners wishing to" train out of the' County to get permission from the Stewards. Entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of the horse, name of the' oyner and colors" of the rider, and delivered not later than 9 p.m. night of general entry. INo person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race unless he be a subscriber to the race fund of not leßs than 2 soys. Hack race excepted. In the event of any person entering a protest the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Three horses must accept for each event or the public money will not be givenAll entries for HacK Races to be subject to the approval of the stewards. Stakes paid less 5 per cent.
