All Lands lienated from the Crown after the coming ate operation of " The Land Transfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must bedea> with, in manner presoribed by ?he Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act : — 1. When the Applicant is the original Grantee, and the land has been dealt, with ; or where the Applicant is not tho original Grantee — Where the value of the land is £100 £2 14 2 Where the value of the land £200 3 3 Where the value of the land if £30 S 12 6 Where the value of the land is £400 4 18 Where tho value of land is above £400, the fees ncreaae at the rate of 4a 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmuch as applicants to bring land under the Aot can direct the Certificates of Title to ißßue in the names of any ether persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Applicant in all eases where tne proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Act in his own name, and tne fe?s may remain unp until and ib dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wisheß to brinn his land under the provisions of the Act, ig order thai whenever he deals with it he may be in a position to avail himself of the facilities afforded by having a Registered Title, can do so Without Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until Buoh dealing takes place, lie will then be in a position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with his laud at a momeut's notice. Any Title, however long and oomplex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings ; for if tbe Title is reI jected al fees are returned, with the exceptioa j of he rent.
