WARDEN'S COURT.
(Before Mr Warden Revel!) Monday, May 6th, 1884. Application*. Scoltock and Elliston — Coal tramway 11 chains, Lankey's Creek. Granted. John Coglan two chains tramway below bridge at Rodger's. ; Objected to by J. Billett on the ground that the application took in part of, a pqblic road. * * * Mr Lynch appeared for applicant. i John Coglan : The tramway line has been used in connection with my coal mine for nine years past ; it is a pack track and has been used by every holder of the coal mine for eight or nine years ; I put the notices on two trees about 500 ft apavt j the tramway is 10 chains in length ; I put in four pegs and cut trenches ; I put two pegs at the head of the coal mine and two at the termination of the tramway ; I did not peg the line. The Warden said it was no use going any further. The pegging had been irregular and the case would have to be dismissed. John M'Quillan: sections 1142 and 1 1 45 to wn of Reef ton. Granted . Ah Gee : race and dam half a mile up Antonio's Creek. Granted. Henry Cowan: race and residence area Moonlight Creek, Big River. Granted. ■■■■■■..- Wm. M'Call : residence area, 'Antonio's Creek.
