The operations at this mine were fully reported upon in a late issue of this paper. Its prospects continue us bright as ever. The Directors of the Red Queen Company have accepted the following tenders: Construction of tramway, Ungherer and Phillips, £206; paddocks, R. Morgan, £108; shoots, Mears and Adamson, £160. There were 5 tenders for the iirst-iuentioncd contract, throe for the second, and three for the third. The contractors have left for Mokilnuui to commence their several woiks, which must be out of hand before the end of August.
