IN pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881," I, Henry Lucas, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Inangahua, do HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that by virtue of a WRIT hearing date the Twenty-seventh day of June, 1884, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an ELECTION will he held for the return of ONE QUALIFIED PERSON to serve as a Member for the said Electoral District ; and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the COURT HOUSE, REEFTON, at NOON, on WEDNESDAY the SIXTEENTH day of JULY. 1884; and' that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken at the several Polling-Places of the said District, on the TWENTYSECOND dav of JULY, 1884. The following are the Polling-Places for the Electoral District of Inangahua :— The Court House, Reeftou (principal) The New Schoolbouse, Black's Point TheGovernnientSchoolhouse,Capleston M'Hardie's Buildings, Little Grey The Sohoolhouse, Granville The Court House Abaura The Schoolhouae, Orwell The Schoolhouse, flatter's Terrace, Nelson Creek Mr Russell King's Buildings, Middle Township, Moonlight The Court House, No Town The Schoolhouse, Tayldrville.' TO THE ELECTORS OF THE DISTRICT OF INANGAHUA. /GENTLEMEN,— I beg to announce VJ that at tiie forthcoming election I will be a candidate for the honor of representing your important district in Parliament. I purpose meeting you personally at an early date for the purpose of folly explaining my views upon the various political question of the day.
