KEEP-IT-DARK.

The relatively magnificent return from this battery for the week caused a pleasant surprise to-day. The yield is, we believe, the highest ever yet ob fcained by the Company, and falls little short of the best record yet obtained in the field. The past fortnight's amalgam was retorted to-day and gave 41loz 14dwts of gold, which, adding that obtained from the preceeding fortnights retorting, brings the monthly yield of gold up to close upon 700oz. It is expected that the directors will be able to declare a dividend of 3/- per share. The stone now coming from the low level is of excellent quality, and augurs well for the future of this splendid property.
